Discover the unique architecture in the Central Business District (CBD) of Singapore and learn about how this island became a “City in a Garden” starting in 1967 with a tree planting scheme, designing parks and recreations, and legislating minimum standards for sustainable green buildings.

Our guide Sarah will share with us what defines a green building and how it is tailored to projects in the tropics as well as who were the architects and landscape designers behind the various iconic award-winning buildings we will see.

We will start our tour at the recently opened CapitaSpring building where we will begin our visit with a panoramic view from the rooftop Sky Garden located on level 51 and walk through the cascading green oasis lush garden spread over 3 levels.

We will head over to the Marina One, a joint Singaporean Malaysian project designed by German architect Christoph Ingehoven as an integrated commercial and residential complex.

Our last stop will be at the 27-story skyscraper Oasia Hotel which looks like a giant living tree designed by WOHA architects located in the Tanjong Pagar area.
