Fort Canning is not just a green oasis in the heart of Singapore but played a very important role in our history. Marvel at the ancient relics dating back to the 14th century, which have been unearthed. Learn about the time when Singapore was known as Temasek and why Fort Canning Hill was the "Forbidden Hill".
Visit the site with our tour guide Charlotte where Sir Stamford Raffles and his successors made their residences, and remnants of the fortress built in the 1860s. Learn about the lives of some of the famous folks buried there and also enjoy the wonderful Flora and Fauna of this very historical Hill.
In the recent years, Fort Canning has been renovated and now has 9 historical gardens. Hear about the history and landscapes that were known to have existed in the 14th to 20th centuries. You will get to taste and smell some of the wonderful array of herbs and spices along the way!
We will end the tour near Clarke Quay, where you can enjoy some refreshments (optional) before heading home.

Nearest MRT stations Bras Basah or Dhoby Ghaut - about 5-10mins walk.
There will be lots of walking, so please put on comfortable shoes, bring along a bottle of water, an umbrella and insect repellant.
Please note: A minimum number of participants is needed for the tour to proceed. Tour will be cancelled should the required minimum number of participants not be met 2 days before the tour date. Your ticket will be refunded in this case.
